There is no art without sweat or work or pain in the process. All art is performance and with that comes anxiety and self doubt. Writing is no different. If you expect to practice until you wake up one day and it just comes easy, then you’re not going to make it. It’s never easy getting the words right. You learn things, tricks that make it easier, but you still have to perform.

I hate all of you.
Not really, but I feel as though I must give you some notes as to what has happened to me these past couple days:
Number one: I missed my flight to Nashville yesterday. Lost $170 to that.
Number two: had to spend $290 on a ONE-WAY ticket, in order to make it by 8pm to Nashville for Devendra.
