humancomputer: In some ways the internet is afterlife: a “nonexistance”; human ghosts; identities void of cognition; storage of unconscious information; a place to live and die at once.

The Honest House, by Megan Falley.
In an effort not to crawl back to you, I crossed the 2-train off my subway map in blue ink, called it a river, sold our canoe. Swept the soot from the chimney into a vase, scattered it all over our favorite spots in Manhattan. Husband, I pretended they were your ashes. Spoke your name in past tense and still, when we found ourselves in the same bar, I phoned a mystic, told her I was seeing...

Things
-I’m pretty lucky, but I’m waiting for an apocalypse of bad luck due to a black cat. -When it’s winter and the sun is out and it’s 50 something degrees, it does something magical in your spirit bones. -My sexual appetite is still alarming, but what is nymphomania in comparison to manic depressive traits and such. -My car payment is due in two days and I haven’t the...

queenofcatnaps: You can try dating a dancer. They are muses to watch. As a writer entrances with circles so too does a dancer spin like a sufi. But if you tell one (a dancer, not a sufi) that was a great performance, they will cast you off as an discreditable source. It was good. Not great. You can try dating a dancer but the number of fouettés wasn’t enough/ whip not sharp enough, the developé...
